Welcome to Apex Dance and Performing Arts Center, serving the greater Dallas DFW Texas area. We offer dance classes from ages 2 up to adults, specializing in Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, combo classes (Tap/Ballet) and much more.
We are available for birthday parties, private lessons, artist development and many other performance and choreography needs.

With over 25 years of experience, Donna is a loving, energetic instructor dedicated to bringing out the best in every child. Guided by her faith and passion for children, she provides quality dance training in a supportive environment with small class sizes and personal attention.

ABOUT DONNA

Owner
Donna began her dance career on California’s Central Coast at Pat Jackson’s American Dance Studios, where she later became an instructor and performance group director at just 19. After moving to Southern California, she choreographed for artists signed to Atlantic, RCA, Mercury, and Capitol Records, and worked with legendary performers including Stevie Wonder, India Arie, Brian McKnight, Erykah Badu, Kelis, Ice Cube, and NWA. Her work has been featured in music videos, television, a national Coca-Cola commercial, and on MTV, BET, VH1, and Soul Train.
Now a studio owner and award-winning choreographer in the Dallas Metroplex, Donna has earned Diamond, Platinum, Gold, and First Place Overall awards at major competitions and has choreographed for multiple Junior Player Productions, most recently The Wild Party.
